Red Ribbon Killer

Just thought up this scene and created it. Denise finds Stephy's body with a red ribbon around her neck, but things are about to get even worse for Denise.

UPDATE: I started with just the one picture, but I've expanded it to show what happened next. I'm not sure whether I'll add more victims.

UPDATE: This one appears out of order because after I finished the sequence, I thought it only fair to show what happened before... Stephy getting attacked. I'm still not sure whether I'll add more victims.

The setting is one I have had around for a long time, but seldom used. It was resource intensive to render back when I was using 3Delight and the scene's included lighting. Here I've deleted all of those lights, applied Iray emissive lighting to the appropriate surfaces in the scene, and made the surprising discovery that it rendered in Iray without difficulty. I could have had a good picture after 2 hours of rendering, but I let this continue for 6 hours, achieving 47% convergence and a better picture. I could have let it render longer and improved it even more, due to the progressive way that Iray renders, but I think the improvements would have been minor. Some of the later pictures were allowed to render for something between 8 and 12 hours each.
